It is my honor to have been commissioned to compose a new work for Palisades Virtuosi in honor of their 20th year anniversary,  These three outstanding and gifted musicians have made a commitment to commissioning new works from living composers for virtually every one of their concerts over the past two decades, and I am one of the many fortunate composers who have had her music premiered by this wonderful trio .  The title, “Swing It, Dr. M! speaks to the joy of this occasion and, in its playfulness, is secretly dedicated to the D, the M, and the R of this group.  It is up to you, the audience, to figure out what those letters mean.  AA
