I composed "Daffodils" for my friend and mentor, Gregg Smith and The Gregg Smith Singers. It was premiered on March 2nd, 2013 at St. Peters Church in New York City. This beautiful poem by William Wordsworth leapt out at me after the tragedy at Sandy Hook . The poem speaks of the coming of spring, of the beauty of daffodils blooming and the hopefulness that the future will be bright.
